Licenses and billing

MigrateX charges per person migrated. Nothing else counts.

The rules

• One license per person, used the moment their first migration pass starts. Not at assessment, not at matching.
• Half a license per shared, room or equipment mailbox. Two shared mailboxes for one license.
• Free: groups and distribution lists, SharePoint sites, shared drives, Teams, Chat spaces, delta passes, verification, retries, cutover, reports.
• Licenses never expire and pool across all your projects.
• New organizations start with 5 trial licenses.

Ordering

1. Licenses → How many licenses?Type the number; the total updates with the tier price. Continue to checkout.
2. Billing detailsCompany name, address, VAT number and the email the invoice goes to. Remembered for next time.
3. Payment methodCard (or Revolut Pay, where offered): the secure card form opens inside MigrateX; the licenses are active the moment the payment completes, and the receipt is on the order page. Invoice: the order waits for confirmation and the licenses appear once it is approved.

Every order has a printable invoice under Licenses → the order number. An order that was not paid straight away can be paid later with Pay now on the Licenses page.

Reading the balance

The header shows licenses available. The Users tab shows how many matched people haven't started yet — that is how many licenses the full wave needs. The Overview warns when the balance is short.
